The Internal Monitoring Unit (IMU) at Makerere University Biomedical Research Centre (MakBRC) is pleased to announce an ISO 15189:2022 Implementation Training scheduled to take place from 27th to 29th July 2026 at the Dean’s Conference Hall, College of Health Sciences, Mulago.

This training is designed for laboratory professionals, quality officers, researchers, and other stakeholders seeking to strengthen laboratory quality management systems and enhance patient care through effective implementation of the ISO 15189:2022 standard.

Participants will gain:

  • Enhanced laboratory quality management skills
  • Understanding of ISO 15189:2022 requirements and implementation processes
  • Practical knowledge of conducting laboratory audits
  • Exposure to expert-led workshops and case studies
  • Hands-on guidance on applying quality standards within laboratory settings
